Several Ways to Earn extra Income

Most people nowadays are looking for several ways to earn money. Sometimes, money earned as an employee is not that enough to sustain your needs and wants.

This is why there are a lot of people who tend to look for ways to gain extra income in the web or social media.

Like you, I am as well a person who loves checking on ways I can do to support myself. Through researching, I was able to get some ideas which I would like to share to all of you, Sunnies.

  • Try online selling

One good way of earning is through online selling. I have seen a lot of my friends on my social media accounts who are using their accounts as their way of promoting their businesses.

In this type of business, you would need a little amount of money to start. You just need to be creative enough to promote your products.

Through facebook, instagram, or twitter, you can reach your target customers without spending too much. Moreover, there would be no need to have your own stall or shop (if you don’t have that much capital). You can start even at your home and do meet-ups if you got clients.

I have lots of friends who are currently delving into online selling. You might want to visit their pages! Check below links:

  • Affiliate Marketing

According to web searches, Affiliate Marketing is a way of promoting other’s business and products often through a network. Once people ended up buying the products promoted, the affiliate marketer can gain some commission depending on the agreed amount by the marketer and owner.

If you have a business and find it hard to promote your products, you can hire affiliate marketers to help you out.

Same way, if you would want to gain some income through marketing, you can check several sites which are offering this affiliate program. Most online shops have this program. You can go and check Lazada, Shoppee, Amazon, or Ebay’s site.

  • Printing Business

If you are that creative on making your own designs, you can start with your own printing business. Although you might need a bit higher capital for the things needed to start, surely, your gain would be higher if you got lots of clients and customers.

You can start at invitation printing (since most people love sending invitations for several occasions like birthdays, anniversaries or even baptisms). You need to know how to use design tools to end up with the best output.

You can as well try shirt printing business. Shirts are being used even by businesses as their giveaways or by individuals as gifts. A lot of social media pages are offering free seminars to start with this business. This might cost much but keep in mind that shirts never go out of style. As long as you have amazing design creations, you can attract lots of customers.

  • Blogging

If you are a person who loves writing, blogging could be a way to earn extra income. However, this could be a bit harder than the other methods. Blogging takes a lot of your time. You would need to be consistent so that you could attract lots of viewers and followers on your site. By blogging, you can team up with other people especially those with businesses. Your site could be their way to promote their products. If you also have your own site, you can check WordAds, Adsense, and Infolinks as they are offering payments for every ads incorporated on your site once your readers clicked / viewed their advertisements.

  • Vlogging

There are a lot of people who are using videos as their way of earning extra income. Actually, most are doing it full time.

Having your own channel for example in Youtube, will let you upload your own videos. The more subscribers, followers, and views you have, the more income you can get. There are many successful youtubers who are gaining a lot from publishing videos online. You just need to be creative and your contents must be good to attract viewers. Having video editing skills will also help you produce good quality videos.

  • Tutoring

If you are not that creative and has no passion in writing, you can somehow try tutoring. Since another school year already started, most parents are surely looking for tutors for their children. You can choose any subject you are good at and promote yourself on your social media accounts to attract clients. Just make sure to put your contact details and rate for faster transactions.

  • Online Jobs

Another way of getting extra money is by doing online jobs. Many businesses are actually hiring freelancers, virtual assistants, content writers, and many more. Jobs are posted online using several websites. By doing online jobs, you are enjoying the perks of working at home at your own choice of time. You just need to have a good background, curriculum vitae, and of course a portfolio (wherein your works are shown) to attract clients. Sometimes, there are clients asking for examinations and interviews once they got your application. All you need to do is to pass those! Once hired, you can now start your online job and gain extra money (usually in dollars).

Good luck, Sunnies! Whatever you decide to do, just keep on pursuing what you really want!

Secrets you should know to pass Board Examinations and Certifications

It is graduation season again! One goal for most graduates nowadays is to pass board examinations and certifications. For students, taking exams is a crucial moment since they are not sure about the questions that would be asked.

Preparing for such is not a joke. For every goal, one should exert a lot of effort and time. (Read my blog about the life lessons I learned at 23!)

I may not be that excellent during the time I took mine but still, I would like to share some tips and secrets to the graduates who decided to continue the path.

⭐️ Choose the best review center.

One factor to a successful examination is choosing the right and best review center. Note that all questions would be based on the subjects the students taken for 4 or 5 years. Studying all those subjects would be very difficult. Luckily, there are review centers who provide lessons as refresher. Assessments are being done as well to check the knowledge gained during the review. Review centers are of great help in strategizing and planning the topics. They provide hand-outs and journals as guide to the students.

In choosing a review center, one should check the institution’s profile (history of their passers) and of course, the instructors who will be teaching the lessons (including their background and how good they are in the field).

If you are an IE graduate residing in the Philippines, I would recommend IExcel Review Center! Check their page on below link:

https://www.facebook.com/IExcelReviewCenter/

⭐️ Take the exam earlier.

If you just graduated, I suggest to take the exam right after. This is because you still got the knowledge learned from universities. If you’ll delay the time, you might somehow forget those important topics which are usually asked during examinations.

⭐️ Do not rely solely on what the review center teaches.

Although the review center of your choice offers great journals and hand-outs, you still need to search for more references in the web or even books. However, keep in mind that you should choose and use those which are from trusted sources. Usually, there are questions in the web which have structures the same as those questions in the examinations.

⭐️ Make sure to make your journal.

Do not forget to create your own notes during review sessions. There are a lot of people who learn while writing. Moreover, you can write those important things (not on the hand-outs) being discussed by the instructor. Usually, techniques and strategies are not written on the review center’s given journals.

⭐️ Allow some time (everyday) to review.

Of course, there would be a need to allot some of your time to browse and review everything you learned for the day. 30 – 60 minutes will somehow be enough (which still depends on you). I suggest to go through the review materials once you got home to ensure you really understood the topics discussed.

If you encountered questions / problems during your self review, you can write those on a piece of paper and clarify those with your instructor on the next meeting.

⭐️ Allow yourself to take some breaks.

After days of reviewing, you should of course take some breaks and unwind for some moment. This will relax both your physical and mental being. Talking to your friends and family members will help as well to reduce the pressure and stress you are encountering during your review period.

⭐️ Go to several churches and pray.

The most important thing you should do is to attend masses and solemnly pray. Remember that you can ask Him anything. Believe that he will be giving what your heart desires as long as you are putting the effort needed. Nothing is impossible with him.

But still, remember that whether you passed or failed, examination marks won’t define the real you. You are not forced to take those — it will still be your will.

I wish you all the best!

Reasons why you should visit the Philippines.

The Philippines, a tropical country bounded by bodies of water is known to be one of the beautiful countries not only in Asia but in the world. Having lots of islands, 7,107 to be exact, many tourists are really visiting the country from time to time.

According to the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), international tourist arrivals increased by 7.7% in 2018 compared to its level on 2017. Tourists are mostly Koreans, Chinese, Americans, Japanese, and Australians.

In this article, I’ll be sharing a lot of reasons why our country, the Philippines, is worth visiting for.

  • Amazing beaches in several provinces.

The country is blessed to have lots of beaches which mostly attract people from foreign countries. We got Palawan, Boracay, Batangas, Panglao, Camarines Norte, and many more. In these places, you can enjoy not only the beach and its scenic view but also the activities being offered by the natives – scuba diving, parasailing, island hopping, cliff diving and zipline, just to name a few. If you’ll be visiting the country, you could ask the staffs from the hotel you are staying and surely, they’ve got some ideas about the rate of each activity. You can also ask them for some other famous places they truly recommend.

  • Amazing mountains wherein you can go hiking.

One of the most popular adventures being done by most Filipinos and foreigners is mountain hiking. Since the Philippines has been given lots of amazing mountains wherein you can hike and see the best view of nature, this activity has been considered as one good suggestion when you visit the country. The best time to go on hike is during the end of the year because the weather seems to be a bit colder during this period. Some of the famous ones are Pico de Loro, Mt. Makiling, Mt. Daraitan, Mt. Gulugud Baboy, and Mt. Pinatubo. When you got to the peak of these mountains, you’ll felt the fulfillment after long trail of walk. The photos taken at the top of the mountains are indeed amazing because of the breathtaking views.

  • Amusement parks, Museums and breathtaking places.

Aside from having beautiful beaches and mountains, the Philippines as well has lots of tourist spots which you can visit. Chocolate hills at Bohol is indeed fascinating as you’ll be seeing amazing hills which are naturally made. You can also go and see Baguio and Tagaytay. Because of the tropical weather of the Philippines, most Filipinos are visiting places with colder temperature. These two come on top of the list. We also got Batanes, Ilocos, and Davao, wherein one can see the awesome history of the country.

We also got amusement parks and museums. One of the famous ones is Enchanted Kingdom. This place offers thrilling rides at affordable price (whole day won’t be enough).

You’ll be seeing lots of museums as well wherein masterpieces of several artists are posted (national museums and art galleries – these are fitted for people who love arts and history). There are also museums good for kids and adults wherein you can enjoy a lot — popular ones are dessert museum, upside down museum, and Yexel’s toy museum.

  • Filipino Foods

A lot of people are deeply in love with Filipino foods. The Filipinos are fond of cooking and eating delicious meals. Some famous Filipino cuisines are Adobo, Afritada, Menudo, Sinigang, and Dinuguan. We also got street foods like “balot at penoy”, “isaw”, fishballs and kikiam, and “kwek-kwek” which are really worth trying.

  • Festivals

The Philippines also has several Festivals which are being celebrated every year. People used to dance at streets and design the town to give thanks to the blessings being received all year round. We are really exerting efforts and time to entertain all people. Costumes are being made as well for every event. Well known festivals are Ati-Atihan, Sinulog, Dinagyang, Panagbenga, and Pahiyas.

  • Cheap commodities

Philippines’ currency is Peso and comparing to other countries’ currency, this has a bit lesser value. We got cheap commodities and different shopping malls wherein you can visit. A day is not enough to see all markets, coffee shops, outlets, and boutiques.

  • The natives and our culture

This is the best reason why you should visit the Philippines. Filipinos are really hospitable and very accommodating by nature. We welcome everyone with open arms. Filipinos are as well kind, have genuine hearts, helpful, and we love smiling. Language is not a problem as well. Most Filipinos are good in speaking English. We can communicate well with every tourist.

And of course, you’ll also be seeing amazing beauty of the people all over the country. (Yeah, we got lots of beauty queens as well — Ms. Universe 2015 Pia and Ms. Universe 2018 Catriona are just some :))

Wanted to pay a visit to the Philippines?

What are you waiting for?’

Buried Dream

When we were young, we were always asked what we want to be when we grow up.

As kids, we usually enumerate lots of popular profession. Although we do not have that much idea, we usually answer that we wanted to be teachers, lawyers, engineers, policemen, and many more.

Growing up, we started realizing the real meaning of the word “dream”. Little by little, we are getting the idea of what several professions mean, of how it feels to be a professional. We are starting to find out that it would take a lot of years, effort, and perseverance to get that dream.

When I was in grade school. Everything is unclear. What I only know is that I need to get up, eat my breakfast, and then go to school. At school, I would only be waiting for the bell to ring — the signal that it is already break time. During summer breaks, we only wanted to go on vacations and play with our playmates. We worry about nothing but gaining more cards and winning on the usual kid games.

As we entered secondary, everything seems to be a bit harder. We are starting to gain some more knowledge about how the society or even the world works. We are grasping the idea that we’ll remain as who we are at the present until we do something. Some strived really hard to get good recognition at school and others enjoyed passing.

The hardest point is when you finished middle school because you need to choose which among the hundreds of courses you would take. Of course, the course you will be choosing should be aligned with who and what you want to be.

In my case, when I got the chance to enroll in college, I was asked to give 3 choices and believe it or not, all those were under business management. I was given the opportunity to take the entrance examination without paying any penny and after some weeks, I got a mail saying that I passed. But since I have written Bachelor of Science in Accountancy as my first choice among all courses, the school expected that I would be under this department.

During enlistment, I suddenly realized that I don’t want to be an accountant. I looked at the list of all the courses again and decided to enroll under Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering. Weird, but yes, that was how I ended studying and graduating under BS in IE.

While studying, I have seen lots of students from different departments. I don’t know why but I was really amazed on how nursing students look.

Suddenly, I remembered I used to say I wanted to be doctor, a surgeon. But due to several reasons including financial capability and length of time required to finish, I did not even try to shift or study again even after I graduated.

I guess being a surgeon would be my buried dream. I just hope that someday, someone from my future family would continue this dream of mine.

How about you, Sunnies? Do you have your buried dreams as well? I hope you don’t. πŸ™‚ I hope you continue striving until you get what you really want.

Remember, whatever your dream is, just keep moving forward.

Hey Sunnies!

InterServer Web Hosting and VPS

I think this is the right time to know more about the writer! I know I should have made this as my first blog post but because of so much excitement, I have published another. πŸ™‚

Are you ready to know more about me?

The writer is a 23 year old Filipina. She is an aspiring blogger who started her own blog site just last June 5. One day, she just realized she wanted to write about anything which comes into her mind. This is the reason why her site was named “Blogs about anything under the sun”.

She was from a family of 5. She got 2 sisters and loving parents. She’s the middle child and this was maybe the reason for her behavior (I am now thinking to create a blog of how a middle child behaves. What do you think?)

Her eldest sister is a licensed Electrical Engineer and the youngest is a graduating student (currently taking up Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering).

She has been in a relationship for almost 9 years. β™₯️ Met her knight in shining armor in middle school. Would write the secrets to long lasting relationship soon, excited? Hope you are. πŸ™‚

The writer graduated from college with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and was hailed as the top student of her batch. She was a university and provincial scholar.

She passed the certification for Industrial Engineers last 2018 making her a Certified Industrial Engineer.

Currently, she is practicing her profession and is working for almost 2 years in a manufacturing company.

Her dream was actually to be a surgeon but due to some personal reasons including financial issues as well as the length of time needed to finish, she decided not to continue.

The writer actually has no passion in writing even before. Actually, she hates school works and researches. But believe it or not, she had been part of her school paper organization back in middle school. Until now, she’s been wondering how she came up with the idea of creating articles and sharing those to her readers.

She loves music. She knows how to play both guitar and ukulele. These were just learned by watching videos online (don’t expect that she is that good.) She’s currently thinking to learn how to play the drums. But since that would be harder without a mentor, she might enroll in some sessions on the next months.

InterServer Web Hosting and VPS

She is not actually into reading books but more of watching movies and series (mostly Korean and Chinese artists). Are you a movie/series person as well? You’ll probably see some series’ reviews on the next blogs.

She loves eating as well and her favorite food is pasta — any kind.

The writer is quite friendly and outgoing. She loves unwinding and hanging out with friends (at day time). Quite weird, but yeah, she loves going home early.

She’s as well eager to find out ways on how she’ll be able to support herself. She somehow dreams to own a business on the next years.

One of her life goals is to travel to be able to see the beauty the world offers. Unfortunately, she has a lot of things to prioritize and travelling consistently is not included in her plans at the moment.

Most of the times, she worries a lot but because she’s a positive thinker, things just fall into its right places without her knowing what she did. Like, what? Everything’s solved?

The writer wants to influence her readers in any way possible. She loves accepting criticisms, comments, and suggestions. So if you feel like you wanted to tell something to her, you can go ahead and check out her contact details on this site. πŸ™‚

Making a Big Difference

The purpose of living is to live with purpose. Every individual has his distinct reason why he lives today and maybe dies tomorrow because his purpose has finally ended. No one knows what is his and you never know what is yours until fulfillment, satisfaction, and happiness speak for you.

Living the life God has given, I always ask about the purpose of my life. There is no answer or even signs at all. There is this feeling that I can’t and I am not on the proper place I should be. I was like a dead fish that goes with the flow thinking that my purpose is just to let things around me be the way they used to.

They say β€œman cannot discover new ocean unless he has the courage to lose the sight of the shore”. So I did. Throughout my journey in life, I tried to get out of my comfort zone – traveling the same direction of waves as the society does. At the terminal end, I discovered and learned that I was living with the wrong purpose. I understand that the reason of my existence is to change the world and do not let it change me.

The world as an arena of discrimination and inequality always look up to β€œhow much” instead of β€œhow”, β€œhow much you contribute to change the world” rather than β€œhow you change the world”. Sad to say, quantity always run before the quality of effort of making a change. If the common way of thinking continues, how can I create a big change if people see me as a small, young, and innocent individual with limited capabilities?

Looking beyond the truth, I remembered what Gandhi once said, β€œBe the change you want to see in the world”. Then I thought of something, β€œwhat kind of change do I really want to see?” Having a deep realization, I ended up concluding that it is not merely the society which is in need of change but the people in it and their ways of thinking.

Doing something for change is never easy. It takes a lot of everything in you. And today, with my head lifted up, I can finally say I can make a big difference. A big change which will start by not thinking β€œhow much” one offered but appreciating β€œhow” he lends something, and by understanding that the cycle do not always follow the usual β€œgive and take”. It is not about doing something good and expecting better in return. I can now make a big change for I truly realized that time, effort, patience, and courage are enough to come up with the best change. It requires love and sincerity. It is not about what you need and you have but what you love to.

At the very end, the biggest change I can do is seeing people around me imitating the way I changed and seeing them change so that they can transform the world better than it was before.

I know you…

I know your past. You are thinking about the memories you had — those good and even bad ones.

I know you had survived lots of difficulties and experienced challenges. Life tested you for so many times, and here you are. You are as strong as the person you dreamed to be. I salute you, human.

I know you are thinking about your present.

I know you are a kid who enjoys playing with other kids. You know every single game and keeps on playing until you hear your mom says, “hey, lunch is ready!”. You’ll rush and go home. After eating, you’ll go out and play again. Thinking about nothing, no worries.

I know you are a student and you just finished this school year. You are looking forward to spending your vacation with your friends and family. You are now planning to go on trips, to the beach, to good places. You wanted to enjoy this period before starting with another school year.

I know you just graduated. You held your diploma and thanked your parents for giving you the opportunity to study. You are so happy. You are thinking to give yourself a break and take some time off after entering into the real world of an adult.

I know you just graduated. Same thing, you held your diploma and give thanks. You look so happy and you are thinking to enroll next school year to get a master’s degree or a post graduate diploma.

I know you just graduated and you have waited for so long to finish. You have applied on several job postings and waiting for the results. You are too eager to get a job and earn some penny to support your family and get all those things you wanted to get.

I know you are a working person. You are at a job you love doing. You enjoy every single moment at work. You are too grateful for getting this job. You love your workmates, you enjoy being with them. You usually forget the time because you know the tasks you need to do.

I know you are working. You are tired. You wanted to quit. You are no longer happy. You wanted to take a break. You have been doing the job for so long and you wanted to get another. Everything is routinary. You get up, go to work, and go home.

I know you are getting married. You are too excited on this new journey. You’ll now live with the person you wanted to live with for the rest of your life. Everything is in place. You have plans. You are looking forward to a new chapter in life.

I know you are a working mom / dad, you are now thinking about your family, your children. You do not have the time to play with your kids. You got a tutor to help your child on his home works because you can no longer spend time with him. And oh! You missed his PTA meeting. You cannot attend to the school’s family day because you have an urgent meeting. After a long day at work, you got home, tired… You saw your child, sleeping.

I know you are a full time mom / dad, you are seeing how awesome your child is growing. You always accompany him at school in the morning, you bring his food for lunch, and get him after school. You now worry about his needs, you have to buy him something for his project. You have to pay his tuition fee. Your monthly electric and water bills are due tomorrow.

I know you are working overseas. You missed your family so much and wanted to go home. But suddenly, you thought about your family’s future.

I know you are a granny. You suddenly realized you have missed doing things you wanted to do. You did not get the chance to go on parties. You are now old. All you can do is to sit and sleep all day. You woke up with the sun and will spend all day waiting for the moon.

I know you are a granny. You are spending some time with your grand children. You are telling old stories about your life experiences. You are seeing the smiles on their faces. You are too grateful you had this life.

Which among these are you?

I know you are now thinking about your future.

But believe me or not, you do not have to think that much. Life isn’t perfect. You could be sad now and they are happy. You are successful and they are not. Keep in mind that though this is happening now, it will be finished some time later.

Time passes.

Do not be afraid to try things. If you had a mistake, it’s okay. If you get things done perfectly, it’s good.

Remember, Sunnies, what’s happening now is a result of your choice in the past. What will happen tomorrow would be based on the things you’ll be doing now.

Breathe, chill, relax, and smile.

I know you are strugglingΒ and I hope you are happy.

Interview Tips for Graduates!

Graduating from universities after years of hard work is indeed fulfilling. Holding your diploma might bring back lots of memories: 6 years in grade school, 6 in middle school (both junior and senior years), and another 4-5 years in college (depending on the course you chose).

Congratulations because you have survived lots of examinations, proposals, researches, and projects. You were able to submit all requirements needed and passed all paperworks and thesis defense!

Welcome! You’ll now start your journey as a grown up, a young adult. Right, this is not the end, but the beginning.

I know most of you are now thinking when, how, and where you’ll be applying to get your first ever job! Let me share some interview tips during application. Hope this could help you in any way.

  • Make sure to come earlier than your scheduled interview.

Once you received a call/mail for your interview, make sure to be noted on the date and time. You should check if they wanted to conduct the interview face to face, via phone or other media like Skype.
Be sure to come to the interview place at least 30 minutes earlier. If you came late, this might somehow affect the employer’s first impression of you. Your reasons for being late could be valid but know that you are the applicant, and excuses are sometimes not entertained.

Remember, first impression lasts!

  • Wear the best formal clothes applicable to the job you are applying. Come neat and prepare copies of your curriculum vitae.

This one is very important as well. Before going to your scheduled interview, make sure to wear applicable and neat clothes. At the same time, you should be comfortable and confident on what you wear. Do not forget to bring copies of your updated curriculum vitae and everything you need including pens, paper, and identification cards. Make sure you know what you have written on your CV.

Drinking water before talking to the interviewer will help as well!

Keep in mind that how you look somehow mirrors your personality.

  • Prepare and look for sample interview questions ahead.

It is good as well to look for several usual interview questions. This could give you ideas on the possible questions to be given by the employer. Creating your own journal is a great help but make sure not to memorize your answers as it will look like everything is scripted. Watching videos are beneficial as well since you can visually see how it really is during interviews. In addition, you must also learn correct gestures.

Better come prepared than surprised!

  • Knowing the company’s profile could also help.

Another must do is to be familiar with the company you are applying for. You can do some research about the firm — its overview/profile, products and services offered, and even policies. This could be your edge in case the employer asked your expectation and insights about the company. Giving positive feedback could count as an additional point for you.

  • Make sure to read the qualifications, requirements, and description of the job you are applying for.

Before sending your application, you must know the description, qualifications, and need of the job. It would be a waste of time if you’ll apply to a position knowing that you’ll not pass. Researching about the possible tasks to be done will help you visualize and assess if you meet the qualifications set.

  • During interview, make sure to smile and stay calm. Do not be too nervous and make sure to think before you speak.

Smile as soon as you see the interviewer. Smiling may mean that you are not that nervous and you really came prepared!

During the interview proper, be enthusiastic. Make sure to think about the questions first before you speak. Answering in a calm tone is good. Make the interviewer think that you know what you are talking about.

  • Be confident and try to show your real self.

Confidence is another criteria during job interviews. Note that confidence is evident on the way you speak and act. If the interviewer sees the real you, you are more likely to get hired. Just try to express your thoughts on the simplest way possible. Using deep words won’t help that much.

  • Do not be disappointed if you think you screwed up during interview. Go ahead and read my blog about the life lessons I learned at 23. πŸ™‚
  • Pray!

In everything you’ll do, seek assistance and guidance to Him. Always pray and trust the process.

Know that everything will fall on the right places at the right time.

Life Lessons I learned at 23!

Hey Sunnies!

I am up with a new blog! Feeling pressured at life? Got no inspiration to continue? Feeling unmotivated?

I am sharing with you some life lessons I learned at 23!

⭐️ Always know that God is in control.

Life is indeed beautiful. But no matter how beautiful it is, we are still experiencing difficulties — be it in love, work, school, and many more. During hardships, there are people who sometimes ask questions like “why is it me?”, “why do I have to experience this?”, “why am I being punished?”, “have I done anything wrong?”. Remember humans that we cannot control everything as we are not certain on what will happen next. Yes, you could be experiencing this situation now, but know that time will come and you’ll definitely surpass it.

“After the storm, the sun will be up.”

When we are at some point in life wherein we do not understand why, how, and what is happening, always keep in mind that there is He who knows everything and is definitely in control. Trust his plans and will. You are definitely at the right path.

⭐️ Do not settle for anything less.

This is so much applicable to me and I believe would be applicable as well to others. I firmly believe that we should not settle for anything less and aim for more. For students who are experiencing hardships at school because of examinations, quizzes, and recitations, aiming a passing score is not bad. If that is what you can at the moment, then be it. However, know in mind that you could always push yourself to the limit. Why would you settle on having a 75% score if you can get a 100%? When you are exerting an effort for something, I suggest to do everything you can to get the best outcome possible. Believe me, when you have achieved it, the happiness you’ll feel would be fulfilling.

Same goes if you are an adult and is an employee on a certain company. I bet there are lots of performance bonuses given by employers. If you can dedicate some more time and effort to get a 10% increase versus the target of only 5%, much better!

Keep in mind that if you can do anything to get more, do it. As long as you are not hurting anyone and is doing it the right way, you are helping yourself to get the things you deserve to have.

⭐️ Look on the positive side of things
We do face lots of difficulties everyday. Life wouldn’t be thrilling and exciting without problems. When you are the peak and wanted to give up, try to look on the positive side of things.
Failing an examination at once is not that bad. Know that you could do better the next time. Instead of worrying about failing, spend your time on looking at the details as to why you failed — then correct those. Gradually, you’ll be seeing your progress.

If you are in a relationship and your partner left you, yes, you have all the rights to be sad and gloomy. But instead of thinking about your partner for days, weeks, or months, try to give your attention to things you like to do. Keep yourself busy. Remember this famous John Lloyd Cruz’ line in his movie entitled One More Chance, “the reason why your loved ones leave is because there are new people who’ll love you more than they did.”

⭐️ Set your goals (either short term or long term) and try to do all your means to achieve them.

Setting of goals, either short or long term, would help you achieve eveything you want in life. Starting with a weekly goal to a monthly goal and eventually a yearly goal is good. Remember to always put timelines and deadlines so that you’ll be able to monitor your status and progress. Anything you set, be it quantitive or qualitative, matters.

Note that every little goal you set serves as one step towards your biggest dream.

⭐️ Learn to forgive and eventually forget.

Forgiving and forgetting are two different words. You might have forgiven someone but haven’t forgotten what he did.

We, people could be sensitive at times. We will always come to a point wherein we’ll have petty fights with others. Forgiving is a bit easier than forgetting. I know it is hard to forgive someone who did wrong most especially if what he did really hurt you. But believe me, forgiving lessens the ache in your heart. By forgiving, you are not helping the other person, but yourself.

Forgetting on the other hand is a much longer process. I am not telling you to easily forget — but to learn how to. If forgiving the person reduces your sadness, forgetting the act will set you free.

⭐️ We got different timelines.

This one’s a bit clichΓ©. I have been reading this statement on several posts from friends and people. Do not feel disappointed about yourself if you weren’t able to get what you want now. Same way, do not envy other’s achievements. A student who graduated from college at age of 21 is the same as a graduate who finished school at 30. There could be a millionaire at the age of 23 and a 50 yr. old millionaire. One got pregnant at the age of 18 and the other at age of 45.

Remember, if you did not get it now, this is not yet your time and something better is up for you!

⭐️ Enjoy life to the fullest!!!!

This would be the last for now. Amidst all those you are experiencing at life, do not forget to enjoy and take breaks. Go with your friends and loved ones. Attending parties, eating, and drinking out at times would help you recover and de-stress. Travel, unwind… Take deep breaths and take time to see how beautiful life is.

We are still human beings, we get tired, frustrated, and sad. At the end of the day, you should still treat yourself and continue to be happy. β™₯️

A happy workplace can make you stay. βοΈ

Graduating from college is really tough. After several years of taking exams, quizzes, and recitations, everybody wants to land to a job which will make us feel secured, happy, and fulfilled — a job wherein we can earn and get to practice things we learned at universities.

For fresh graduates, it is really difficult at first. For some, they tend to resort to companies nearby because of the thought that it would be much harder to live away from home. Others would love to take challenges and go to new places they haven’t been before — resulting to getting and renting dormitories, condominiums, or apartments. Most people also have several beliefs about “having their 1st jobs”.

During application, the only things we got to see are job descriptions, locations, and company overviews. We aren’t even sure what are we going to do, who are the people we’ll deal with, and how long we’ll stay in that company.

In my case, I have been working for almost two years now. The job I am doing is not as easy as what I thought at first. Yes, you got to experience being at the lowest to rank up — which I think is a good thing since we can learn even the tiniest details.

You cannot really avoid the pressure at work! Attending meetings and talking to co-employees could be hard at times. You would be needing lots of ideas and self confidence to express yourself and show what you’ve got.

Yes, it could be tiring and at times, you’ll come to a point wherein you want to quit. But then, you’ll realize how hard it is to find a new one (πŸ˜‚) and repeat the same process you did during application.

But seriously speaking, in my case, one reason for staying at work is the team I am working with everyday. Being with amazing and smart people reduces the stress and pressure you feel at work.

Well, if you are thinking to quit now, think again…
